Bricks by the Bay
Howdy all,
The first-ever LEGO/brick convention for northern California will be
held on April 9-11, 2010, at the Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley in
Fremont, CA.

Tomorrow (Friday, 3/26) is the deadline for the block of rooms the hotel has set aside for Bricks by the Bay. If you haven't done so yet, please reserve your room today! the majority of instructables,there are thousands of k'nex ibles but under 50 lego ones

That's because there are many Lego builder sites out there which specialize. For K'nex, Instructable is one of very few (maybe the only one? I don't know) which allow kids to put up pseudo-weapon designs. Since pseudo-weapons seem to be very popular among the adolescent male fan base, a lot of them participate here.

i know that there are a couple of other good ones around the net and also when you go into tors r' us there semes to be mor eknex than lego

- Mads Nipper is the Executive Vice President of Market & Products for LEGO. He will give a keynote presentation about the state of the LEGO company. This will be his first visit to a LEGO fan convention in the U.S.!
- Steve Witt, LEGO Community Relations Coordinator. It’s his job to manage the interaction between the LEGO Group and the adult LEGO fan community.
These presentations will occur on Saturday evening, April 10.
