Can I use 13V 400mA plug for a device that need 15V 400mA?
Hi. I bought a device but the seller didn't include the plug adapter.
I have a plug adapter with 13V 400mA.
The device manual state that the output is 15V 400mA.
Can I just use the 13V 400mA plug to the device?
Thanks

Putting less 13 volts into a device is reasonably safe and should work very well.
.
The only caution is after ten minutes there are some electric motors that may run slower and their internal fan will not cool the motor wingdings as well which would cause them to heat up.. If your device has motors and you can touch them then your fine..

it provides enough current so your good there. 2V lower isn't too much difference (2V higher would be slightly concerning) But hey, only one way to know ! :P

The output of adapters are always ball park values unless they are regulated, so plug it in and see. It will ether work or it won't.

It's 2V short, so it might not work.
But as usual here: Where are the details to give a proper answer?
