Can I use a thin copper wire strand as conductive thread? Answered

I have this nest of thin copper wire that seems like it can make an excellent substitution for conductive thread

I'm wondering if there's a reason why I should not use it?

Thanks

Is the wire solid-core (single piece of metal) or stranded (many strands of metal)? Solid core wire is stiff and will break after multiple bendings, where pliable conductive thread can move with your body without cracking. You can use your copper wire for connections that don't need to move very much!

It is single strand and I noticed it was fragile.

Didn't consider the body movement. Makes perfect sense, thx
