Can a single woofer driver with dual 4 Ohm voice coils be wired to show a 4 Ohm load to a mono channel amp? Answered

I'm positive I have seen a diagram online to wire a woofer driver with dual 4 Ohm voice coils as a 4 Ohm load, instead of a 2 or 8 Ohm load. It was some combo of series and parallel connections, exiting to a single channel amp. Does anyone have this information?

It does not matter how you connect the thing as you only get 2 Ohm in parallel and 8 in series.
A crossover usually drives 2 or more different speakers in different frequency ranges but this can be changed to just care for two speakers with the same range.
Here the crossover will basically just make sure the resistance is matched.
