Can someone help me with classifying/identifying this plant? Answered

I have no idea what type of plant it is, but need to find out. If someone has any idea, could you please forward information or possible answers. This plant is for a biology experiment and I have attached a picture below. I know it is a tropical plant, but that is about it.

I'd be astonished if it wasn't nigella damascena (love-in-a-mist).

I found it by uploading your picture to SAPIR and finding a similar image on Flickr.

Magic. No, I think the home page at sapir.eu describes the process better than I could.

As for searching using an uploaded photo, just click the plus sign beside the search box to get the advanced options.

Give us a little help here. Is is native to your area? And what is your area of the world?

What shape are the leaves? STem?
Is it a wildflower or garden variety?
