Capacitor question?
I would like to know if I can hook up a capacitor to the incoming power being generated by my windmill so I can up my outage? I've been reading that you can use a capacitor bank to step it up. Thanks?

To a certain degree you can. The voltage regulator on a power generating windmill is essentially doing just that. It smooths out the power release by collecting the excess in a cap and then releasing it back when the generation dips low.
What you probably really want is a higher rated voltage regulator.
