Charging Li-Ion 3.7 V Answered

Just bought a 3.7v  batt for my new laser (class 3b,  200mw)  The batt place had no charger for it. Hoping it will arrive in time for show next weekend.

If charger doesn't arrive, any suggestions for charging Li-Ion without overcharging/blowing up batteries?

Since the proper charger is not in stock, I've got it hooked up to a 4.5v source. It also has a voltmeter which has now reached 4.08v. I'm babysitting it so it doesn't exceed 4.2v. So, basically, I'm the electronics.

Yes, by using a proper charger.

Everything else requires a decent stack of electronics.
