Cheap ride for dirt roads? Answered

I need a cheap but durable ride for dirt roads. What should I use. It doesn't need to go very far.

.  You should know that better than I. I have no idea what your local laws/regulations are.

I suggest you buy an all terrain vehicle.. It is built for rough roads so you would not have a problem damaging your tires. Good luck!

Get an engine first. Some old moped with a CVT transmission might be good, what can you find?

I don't live near a junk yard, and I don't really want to buy a used motor, but I really like the hovercraft idea here.

That's an idea it doesn't actually work, and you're tied to a mains supply...
Petrol-powered hovercraft would be a good one, but you need a lot of power for anything fun.

You could sit into a VW beetle hood hooked up to a quadricicle. You just need someone to drive that ATV - and you dont have to own the ATV (= cheap).

I assure you, thats a whole lot of fun.
