I won a prize in the citizen scientest contest , I recieved my instructables prize pack but no sign of the rain gauge.

Hi and congratulations!
By now, you should have received a SciStarter Tshirt and cover letter explaining that the rain gauge and Discover Magazine subscription would follow under separate cover (if the gauge wasn't included with the Tshirt).
Kindly confirm what you have received already.

I just recieved a instructables prize pack from instructables containing 2 stickers a instructables t-shirt and a patch but nothing from SciStarter yet

Better to try service@instructables.com, since the folk that post parcels are also the first folk to read that email address.
Also, have a listen to the latest podcast ("episode 1"), since this poibt u addressed directly.
