Coaxial to HDMI Converter box? Answered

My cable provider used to require a box for each TV (starting a few years ago), but now I can screw the coaxial right to my old flat screen in the basement and it works like it used to before they required a box for each tv.

If you want high-quality HDMI you have to pay for it. Assuming that the coaxial feed supplies a low-res analogue signal - you can't do it.
