Concrete stepping stones Answered

I have made some concrete stepping stones (for decorative use in flower beds mainly) and have painted them to give them a detailed look. I used exterior paint,  Now I'm wondering what I should use to seal them to protect the paint from chipping and fading?

There are paints designed for heavily used floors. I agree with Downunder35m that pigments mixed when making the mud is a better idea.

Using pigments like iron oxide when making the concrete is much easier ;)

A lot of colors are available too.

In any case I found floor sealer to be near perfect for sealing concrete.

It is like the varnish you use on the boats, quite thick.

I think it down over 50% for the first coat and once fully dried add another coat undiluted.
