Constant Logging Out - Can't Do Anything with the Site Answered

I can't utilize the site properly at all.  Every time I click on a link to a project, it logs me out completely.
I can't add to a collection, or favorite things, or anything.

I'm working strictly from a desktop computer, and am a new user (just set up today).

ETA:  I was trying to use the site with Google Chrome and it wasn't working.   I've now switched to Mozilla Firefox and am able to use the site.

I've been noticing a lot of logging out as well, but it's usually on my iPad. It isn't as constant as you're experiencing, but I've had to log in 2-3 times before it will stick.

I was using the site today on my iPad and figured out some details about the logging out issue. Whenever I open an ible in a new tab, I am not logged in on the other tabs. Additionally, I can't see any of the views or favorites info on the instructables in these new tabs. I've tried refreshing the pages to no avail. It's really annoying to not only have to deal with the sign in pop up on all these new pages, but also the ads, missing info, and one step format.

Normally, I wouldn't even use the "open in new tab" option but it's the only way to view contest entries beyond the first "page" without losing your place in the long list of entries.

I have been having the same issues on the iPad. Also the text will sometimes be missing from an Instructable, along with most of the comments, until I log in again and the page reloads, then I can usually see it.

I noticed some problems too, mainly on the mobile devices not so much on the PC, which is on all the time anyway.
As with your results, a new tab usually looses the login information and you are treated as a guest only.
Does not happen here if I use Chrome on the mobile though.

I don't have another computer to use.

I switched browsers though, and was able to get things working properly.

Doesn't Work: Chrome

Works: Firefox

That is very common with a lot of sites I think, not working in Chrome. I have had the issue before as well. Firefox seems to be the better option. I mostly just use an iPad right now and Safari works fine, just the usual bugs when using a "classic" site on a mobile device. (At least, until recently.)
