Copying Hard Drive? Answered

I'd like to know, is there any way to copy EVERYTHING from my computer hardrive (this one) and put it on another harddrive, BUT still in this "tower"? As in, I just like swap out the drives. This comp's HD is 70gig, but my other ones 220 gigs. I want to keep all my programs and such, but I want to put it on a bigger HD. Any suggestions? and please please please! let it be freeware. I just love it. Also, I am using XP, and so is the other computer with the bigger HD, but for some reason, the other computer has bigger icons and not as good a quality.

If the new one is bigger, I'd assume it's also newer? Here's a thought: Ensure the 220 is completely clean, set up the two as RAID 1 (mirrored) - it should be able to start with what you've got and mirror the smaller drive onto the bigger one. OK, you'd probably need another drive with an OS but someone might be able to help you with that? L

You need to tell us what OS your using, what your looking for is a disk cloning program, which will create a fully bootable copy of the drive.

Xp. The other one is too, but, it has like an older version or something, because all the icons are bigger and not as god a quality.
