Folks, Question: if I go back and repair some typos and then hit publish again does it reset everything or are the stats (views) cumulative regardless?

The results are cumulative. In fact, you don't generally have to "republish" at all. If you edit and save, the corrected version should become live within a few hours (it takes that long for all of the caching servers to get updated).

You don't have to republish it. Its already published. Saving your changes does the same thing. (Republishing it however, sends a notice to your subscribers EVERY time you hit publish. This can be a bit annoying if you make a half dozen changes in an hour).

(But if you make some major revisions, it can be quite useful.)

Totally agree! I republished one ible recently due to some major changes and it proved to be a good decision. The typo's are the things people perhaps shouldn't republish for. :-)
