DIY Android App works on phone but not on tablets? Answered

Hello everybody,
I have an android app which makes a kind of photo slide and will conect with a lamp to change some colors on it.
When I put the app on my sony experia SP, it works fine but when I try in a galaxy tab 4 10.1 or in a nexus 7 mk II, it doesn't work. Do you have any idea of why this can happen?

Cheers

(any options to put the apk?

Thanks all you for the answers.

I have news, the app works on the tablet now, but we can't check if works with the lamp because of the bluetooth reciver has not arrived......... then we need to wait.

To the question have you write the app. Yes, using the app maker of google not java or whatever clever people use.

Now what is going on is that in the slideshow from 5 pictures uploaded just run 4... and leave 1 in white.

The app works in different versions of android :) 5 and 4.

I'll keep you post if any news. It is really weird this of programming I won't complain any more when an app crash :S

Just thought: how does the app connect to the lamp? Bluetooth? Wifi? Near field? Infra red?

It is possible that tablets lack the appropriate device to send the signal.

A lot of stuf does not work (right) on Lollipop, the 5.1 Update fixes a few things but not all.

The Nexus (Razor, RazorG) already the Lollipop update, same for the Tab4, although it migh be getting it a bit later.

If the OS is not the problem than maybe the screen densisty.
Did you write the app?

Check compatibility. What versions on Android is the app designed to run on? Is the lamp using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi? If it's Bluetooth are you taking the time to pair the device with the lamp? If it's not paired the the app won't see the lamp and can't work with it.
