DIY: Garden project((Generating curent etc...)) How to?
Greetings from sunny Croatia! I want to use some generic DC engines to produce electricity using wind. I'll connect DC engine to windmill thing, when it spins it generates about 0.25-0.35V. And while it spins it charges batteries during the day, when night falls down the LED strip/strips turn on and use power from batteries that were charched during the day. Is it possible to make? Could I use dynamo from old bycicle? Thanks again, and sorry for bad English!

In order to charge a battery you need slightly more voltage than the battery puts out. You'll need to have several of those DC motors connected in series. You'll also need some sort of charge controller so you don't over charge the batteries. Most likely the you won't get enough power saved up over the course of the day to allow the LEDs to stay on for vary long. You may find after a few days the batteries will be completly dead.

Then, is there ANY way that is cheap to charge batteries using wind?

You can connect multiple small motors in series to get the voltage you need. You just need to find low RPM motors so you can maximize the amount of power generated with each rotation. But you will still need to spend some money on a charge controller so you don't over charge the batteries.

You need to spin the motors faster !
