DVDs to Ipod Answered

My brother gave me his old Ipod Video for Christmas. Because he has a mac and I have a PC, he had to erase all the Data on it. i was cool with it, because it would've done that anyways. I just wanna know. He had my DVD of Transformers on his ipod, but he told me he used no software to get it on. I'd like to know how to do this on my XP. Also, I'm watching it right now on Windows Media Player. Can that help me?

um... i tunes might have something that converts formats

just download that and handbrake, take the data off the dvd with handbrake, and convert it with iTunes

or if you want you can use SUPER, it converts anything, into anything! but you have to get the data off the DVD

SUPER! That thing does EVERYTHING I think I need to upgrade to the new windwos, this xp is running soooo slow now, take 6 hours to convert 2 hours, and it use to only take about an hour or an hour and a half.

XP was built in 2001 and aimed to be usable on pentium 3 - 4. i'm sure its more light than any future windows

Try Handbrake! Just pop in the DVD and choose the iPod preset in Handbrake.
