Design a Green Gadget and Win Some Cash Answered

Want to make the world a little greener and be rewarded for it? The folks at core77 are running a contest called the Greener Gadgets Design Competition. They're asking people to submit ideas that reduce environmental impact of consumer electrical devices.

Three of the areas they want designers to consider are:

1. Energy
2. Materials / Lifecycle / Recycling
3. Social & educational development

The contest sounds like a good one with the first prize winner taking home $2,500 and two runners up winning $1,000 each.

Each entry needs three images and a 500 word description. The set of images must tell the story of the design at three scales:
- one image showing context
- one image showing object
- one image showing details, exploded view, etc.

You have to get the design in by January 27th 11:59pm EST.
