Did I kill my ardweeny? Answered

If I put 9V into my ardweeny, and now when I power the LED turns on immediately and it will not communicate with the software, have I killed the ardweeny? If so, can I replace parts from it, or is it just dead?

I really dont know what ardweeny is but if you mean arduino by ardweeny then you have not fried it cause arduino can take anything between 6-12v.

You probably killed your Ardweeny. You probably can desolder the atmel chip from the board and replace it with a new atmel chip as I suspect you fried it. Not much else on the board that would be hurt by 9v.
