Do you use punches in making greeting cards ? Answered

Today you can get so many different kind of punches to make any kind of cards so easily. But I always prefer to make whole card by my own.

It is the history and nature of the Instructables community that they prefer the step-by-step format.

> Videos cannot be printed out and scribbled on in the workshop.

> Videos subconsciously force an uncomfortable pace of work, especially if they edit out the slow parts, or race through them with time-lapse.

> The site has a large (and growing) proportion of users who do not have access to superfast fibreoptic broadband with unlimited downloads (in some countries, Internet access is almost entirely via pay-as-you-go phones) - for them, text and still images are cheaper, easier and faster to access.

Nobody is stopping you posting an instructable that is dependent upon watching a video, but I can guarantee that you will not get the views, shares, praise or rewards that the same project would get in a step-by-step format, perhaps supported by a video.

There is no but ;)
Instructables is about making, if it is too much for to write it down so everyone can follow it than it is nothing more than advertising your stuff hosted on external websites, in this case Youtube.
If you post it as an Instructable you not only get the views but you can also use the video as a reference.
So you still get the hits your after but you would use this website the right way ;)
