Does any one know how to make ushanka hats out of real fur? Answered

I have a beaver pelt that I want to turn into an ushanka (russian hat) anyone have a good idea on how to do it?

Check out deviant art. They have a pattern for one.

I couldn't find a pattern anywhere.  So what I would do is find  a hat locally that was built along the same lines and use that as a pattern and add the ear flaps.
