Does anybody have an idea of how I could fit an LED and battery into a very very small jar?
The batteries are a tiny bit bigger than the inner circumference of the opening =(
If you do, I will most definitely post an 'ible on how to make a very, very tiny light-up jar ;)

If your talking about a small difference you might be able to alter the container. Bending the batteries is a bad idea as they can short out. With a small file or a carbide dremel tool you could file away a small amount of glass and make a groove to slide the battery into. The good thing is it will keep the battery in place. The bad thing, if its to tight it could shatter the glass. It will be time consuming and delicate work. Be careful of the glass powder that's produced, vacuum it up before it gets a chance to spread.

Thanks! Helped a lot...I completely forgot I asked this! I think I'm gonna go with a smaller battery, but I like your thought on the topic...very useful!
