Does anyone have any links (or could someone create) for Twitter for those of us that don't understand it? Answered

Like how to make links to share tiny and basic uses, like sort of a Twitter for dummies? 

I am Twitter illiterate, but joined and tried to participate in an online Twitter party and couldn't figure it out.
