Double Click to Post Answered

Recently i've been having to double click on the post button to get any posts on the Q&A or Forums to post. It's like the site isn't receiving the first click. It's happening across multiple PCs in different locations (ie miles apart). I've cleared internet and java cache with no change. Before this was happening i'd post a comment and the comment would be posted and the text field would still show what i had typed.

With the new editor (and text editor) you just need to click once.

Try clearing your browser cache entirely and refresh the page.

As mentioned i've cleared internet cache to no avail. Even restarted the PC. The issue is intermittent. Sometimes the double click on the post button is required others the single click works but the text field remains

Just now a double clikc was required and the text field stayed populated as the post was displayed under it.

I've submitted a bug report. Thanks for letting us know, we'll see if we can reproduce it and solve it!

(I didn't get the hanging-on text that time, though.)

I also have been having trouble with the post button. Specifically, I would click it once, and then nothing would happen.

I found I could make post button work by clicking it, and holding it down (i.e. not releasing my mouse button) for a loooooooong time, like several seconds of holding it down, for it to take.

Same issue as the others, with a bit more.

Didn't get the reply compose window on an instructable, had to reload the page.

Double clicks all round to post comments.

I have to sometimes double click to post but sometimes one click posts the same comment twice and I have go back in to delete one of them. The original comment stays in the comment entry field sometimes and you don't notice when it does post below it so you click again. It normally or used to disappear when the comments posts and the page refreshes.
