Draft views Answered

After finishing a project and reading it some times in the preview section, I noticed the view number seemed to go up. Not just every time I looked at it, every time I clicked next step, 5 times while reading the project once. This hasn't happened to me before. I'm using safari on an OS X 10.8.2

I have an Instructable that I published. It got 11 views, and then got unpublished.

Now it has 31 views. How?

I was curious about this, too. I've been working on a draft, and was surprised to see a view count on one of my projects that has not yet been submitted.

I think this happens when you open the draft with your cell phone

Reason I blanked the image and title is because it's an instructable about a present for a gift exchange that hasn't been received yet.

You can count those as freebie views. I know in a previous release of the site the view counter reset when it went live, not sure if this is the case right now.

Ah, thanks for letting me know. They weren't reset when I published them
