Dual Emai Messages Answered

Why is it that I get an email with the instructable from...
Instructables newsletter@instructables.com

Then usually within the same day I get a duplicate message from
Instructables newsletter@instructables.com via me-ss2-6zuaan.mailengine1.com

The duplicated message shows up as BLANK from Google Gmail... unless I click on DETAILS... but then it is the exact same email I got from Instructables newsletter@instructables.com

Why is that? And how do I stop it? It started a month or so ago... it's annoying.

Do you use more than one email address?

Is it possible that you (or somebody else) has used the other email to sign up for newsletters as well?

Yes, that must be what it is... the askjerry email address is getting forwarded to the gmail address. Let me go into my accounts and see about that. I had another issue when I attempted to log in with FaceBook and it created a secondary account... that is when the issue started.

Someone at Instructables deleted the other account and corrected my FaceBook... but I'll bet this is residual from that. I'll go check my account settings now.

Not a problem - I know I get two copies of the newsletter, because my youngest is signed up, and his email account copies all his messages to my account.
