ERROR MESSAGE IN NCSTUDIO FOR CNC Answered

My name is Joel Chidi. Thanks for having me in this forum. I am super grateful for the opportunity.

I am a furniture maker. I have a CNC 3 axis machine,

I generated a basic profile toolpath, to cut simple 16mm plywood but when i uploaded it to ncstudio and automated it, the CNC was not moving. i clicked on F9 and i got the error message "line 0): invalid token. PLEASE WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? because i followed through, every step that was explained in the instructable manual.

I will be so glad to hear from forumites. THANKS

from your expectant and anxious friend JOEL CHIDI

I attached the screenshot from the monitor if that will help.

Your machine only accepts G-Code.
No clue where you got the first line from or why but it needs to be deleted.
After that your code should work unless you have more invalid codes bits further down.

i agree with downunder invalid token means that there is something wrong with the code, the % is not something I recognize as part of the Gcode commands. in fact, the whole screen of code doesn't look right to me.
have a look at this link it should help. If you tell me what suffice your file has on the end of it I should be able to make a simple code for you to test the machine. the name of the file will have something like .tap or .NC on the end of it.
If your not sure what it should be, give me the name of your machine I maybe able to find it for you.

I will really be EXTREMELY grateful if you can help me get a sample test. Let me test the machine and then learn from you on how to create toolpath. I don't know where I am getting it wrong. Even after deleting the lines, the machine didn't move. When I clicked on the F9 key, the spindles went up while the message of 'Z going out of range' popped up. I have a sample plywood material of 580mm X 593mm with thickness of 16mm. While I want to cut 3 panels of 152mm by 508mm. The suffice I used is nc. I am really frustrated with the Chinese company that produces the machine for me. Their technical support has been a huge let down and this is my first major engineering machine I have bought. I really need help to make this work.

I deleted the line you said should be deleted still no movement. When I clicked on F9 ,the cylinder went up but still no further movement. It just wrote that the Z will soon go out of range. I don't know what next to do.
