Hi, Kent. From within a Group, you're supposed to be able to select the [ + New Topic] link on the right-hand end of the "forums" bar at the bottom of the Group page. Then your posting gets included within the Group's list of topics as well as the top-level Forum you choose.

Since last Friday (maybe earlier), that action has been broken -- when you create a topic that way, it only goes to the "category" Forum you choose from the pulldown menu.

Hi, Goodhart. There appears to be a bug in the group-level topic posting script. I've confirmed the bug by making a post myself, and have reported it to Rachel.

I should have created a bug-report topic; sorry.

Okay, I've created a bug report on this issue, cross-referencing this post of Goodhart's.

Thanks, I know I should have, but I was afraid it was just something I had forgotten how to do :-)
