Electric typewriter to USB keyboard Answered

Is there an instructable that is basically universal that show how to convert and electric typewriter to a USB keyboard?

Well this isn't what you wanted either, but I went to look it up so thought I would post it. Saw this at the KC Maker Faire last year. This guy took and IBM Selectric typewriter and hooked it up with only a few solenoids and an arduino and it can print out twitter messages....quite cool!...maybe if you reverse his explanation of how the selectric typewriter works, you can achieve your goal of turning they typewriter into a usb keyboard

I've seen this, but it specifically says it isn't for electric typewriters.
