Electromagnetic coil design, effect of wire AWG and turns. Answered

I made coil of core length 28 mm and wire gauge 38 and 1850 turns but i am getting very less magnetic compare to other coil of core length 21mm, 28 AWG and 1000 turns.
Could you please sujjest what might me the problem. And current we are giving is up to 0.5 A.

It is magnetic flux that decides how much pull you get, anyway as Steve said the pull Force is proportional to the product of the current A times the Number of turns and a Konstant.... F = A x N x k

Too much resistance, not enough current. Field strength depends on N, number of turns and I current
