Embedding YouTube Video Bug Answered

When I type in the URL for my YouTube video, it either says, "There was an error embedding the file," or, "URL not valid." Can somebody help me?

P.S. The reason that this is in "Burning Questions," is because when I began to select the category to put it in, the category "Bugs," was not there.

I just embedded a video in an I'ble and it shows up. But it was in an I'ble that was already published.

I'm having this same issue, I have successfully embedded 9 other videos an instructabal that I'm currently working on and this one just doesn't seem to work.

I discovered the issue was that the option to allow embedding from the youtube creator studio was not selected (in the advanced tab). when i corrected this they are properly embedding again. I guess this is a recent change at you tube and it will stop people form embedding videos without permission. Thanks for your help.

If you haven't already given this a shot, try the share link in youtube (vs. the standard watch link). I found that has worked on other sites.

I've tried both, and even other videos. I can't add any videos to the current project I'm working on.

This very old HTML trick should still work as expected, please replace the code for the video only!
Leave the youtube.be and all!

P2eTb9egUl8 is the only thing you want to replace with the code from your youtube link.
Works in Instructables as well as here in the community section.
Have similar codes for pictures too so I can have them where I need them inside my text and not out of context.
Please click on the pic to see all as it is still impossible to post code on this website in any usable form....

Hi, can you post some screenshots of your problem? Or can you describe more precisely how you proceed? I am not sure I understood.
