Depends on how deep you etch it. It's possible to set up stresses in the glass if it's scratched or etched too deep. If so, it would probably be OK in the microwave, but a conventional oven might be a problem.
Mmmmm. "US" pyrex is not, IIRC,actually pyrex glass anymore, its made of tempered glass, so etching may be enough to destroy it. European pyrex on the other hand, really is pyrex, or borosilicate glass.
