Feature request : "I did it".
-When you post an instructables, it would be cool to know that people used your instruction to do it -Some people made "instructables" to show what they did after reading an instructable (the "Waseome led cube", as an example, led to two other instructibles from people who don't tell you how to do it, but jsut wanted to show what they managed to do) So : I'd like to see a "I build it" feature, which whoud allow registered users to add one page on an instructables, with at least one picture, some optional text, and comments. They would not appear in the "steps" list, but in a separate "They build it" list, but from a functionnal point of view, they would be exactly as a step owned by someone else. Actually, it would be possible for the owner of the instructable to put every builders as contributors, but this would requier an action from the owner, and I think it would allow every builder to modify the instructable, which is not wanted. HTH :) tReg.

I also want a youtube-like bar on the right with "more from this user."

I like the idea. I think they should just add an "I did it" icon to a person's comment if that member clicks the "I did it" button on the last step, or mark progress with a button on each step. Add all of the instructables you do to a list on your profile, and make a list of people who "did it" on the project rating box.

Yes, the "He did it" list in a user's profile is certainly something to add to my "request" :)
