Gameboy Screen Answered

Hi I was wondering if it were possible to replace a standard gameboy advance sp screen with a newer, larger screen and how I would go about doing something like that. Thanks!

Figure out what kind of signal drives the screen. The interface hardware/software is probably proprietary so it would be difficult to just be able to plug a different screen for it and expect it to work.

Thanks for the reply! I am pretty clueless when it comes to electronics, do you know how I would find these things out?

Usually only someone with an EE degree and a nice oscilloscope would try to hack it. Search the internet for any previous hacks or look at discussions where people wanted to do the hack. I think people just go and build an emulator system from a raspberry pi and bigger screen which are widely available. Look at hackaday or ifixit to see if they have done anything with opening up a gameboy to see how it works and if it is possible to add a new screen.
