Green Transportation Answered

Getting places is crucial, but it doesn't have to negatively impact the environment. These three ideas--while not really viable given a modest budget--are interesting ways of approaching homemade green transportation. I especially like the third one, Dream Car 123 (pictured below)--but that's probably because I've always wanted to drive around in a car that looks like it's from Sleeper (a sleeper cell, if you will) and the bulletproof glass will ensure that I don't get shot.

Yikes - 80 lead-acid batteries, 6000lb! Imagine how much energy he's wasting, dragging all that weight around...

Still, >200 miles on lead acid batteries is pretty rare. Not sure about the design, but hey, whatever floats you (6000lb full of lead) boat.
