Thank everyone who has posted and/or will post!

Find something to investigate/lookup. There has to be living things, animals, bugs, plants in the area that could intrigue a curious mind.

I spent hours one day just seeing and discovering how ants find their way home, communicate with each other, etc. (ok, so maybe I am "boring" *LOL* but it got me to investigate things).

I am curious about everything around me, about how it all works, about what holds it all together. Just be careful and don't take your Dad's watch apart to see how it works or anything. They are very difficult to reassemble (experience, and a whoopin speaking here *LOL*).

go get a friend over...get some toilet paper and some flour then make a bunch of little packets of flour and throw them at each other and have a war

its like paintball only not 300 fps, cheaper, a bit less fun, less cops at your house, and less of a mess to clean up

Make lots of Mini Boomerees and have target practice at the rope. Or a small war - you can pretend to do that Matrix-bullet-time-dodging-backwards move.
