MY PROBLEM:

have a problem here. i ripped a USB outa my old comp and ive got everything connected correctally and i get current when i use a current watcher thing. But when i plg in my ipod it doesnt charge...
I've even replaced the female USB adapter....
NEED ANSWERS FAST!!!
IM SUPPOSED TO USE THIS ON PLANE TRIP TOMORROW

What did i do wrong?

if your sure than ok but it does state that on the bat icon it will show a charging sign

dont worry, it is charging. that 5v regulator chip actually does use some power, which makes it around 4.5-4.9 volts. so the ipod does not recognize it because it is not exactly 5 volts, but im 90% sure it is charging
