Hang a curtain the length of a room, what's the cheapest way? Answered

I live in a house with no closets and bought one of those wire closet racks and ran it across the back of my bedroom. It works but leaves a messy appearance with no doors and I have a wood stove and a dusty farmhouse. I have material for curtains but can't afford a rod of that strength and length. So...whatcha got?

You might hang from the ceiling with hooks? You'd have to move the curtains sideways, or roll-up vertically, but no rod required.

A tensioned cable?

Another idea....

Cut the curtain into lengths that align with uprights of your storage racks. Fix a broom pole or similar to the bottom and hang the curtain from the top. Rig it up with paracord so it's like one of these bamboo roller blinds, minus the bamboo.

now this is the best one for me I think  hooking it to the wire racks won't work cause they only go half way the distance of my clothes but like the roll up idea...will see if I can work it out ..

Galvanized pipe from the plumbing department, attached to the walls or ceiling with flanges. Exact configuration would depend on the layout of the room and the availability of studs/joists to attach into.

Rope or a thin cable with a turnbuckle.
