Has anybody heard of a video series called handmade music?
Hi, I was wondering if anybody had heard of a instructional video series called handmade music. It is about making musical instruments yourself. I have looked everywhere including rapidshare youtube.
thanks

Everywhere I searched i found the same thing... people looking for the videos and know one knows what happened to them. Apparently DIY network took them down (for whatever reason) and even the sites that I found pointing back to them for the videos led me nowhere.
So unfortunately, I've tried, but had no luck in finding these videos. (Even tried my network of "shared" stuff, and had no luck there either). Sorry.
You could always contact DIY and ask if they'll repost the videos... couldn't hurt.

OK thanks for trying. maybe I will contact DIY network. Again thanks for spending time trying to find these.

No problem. :) You can always tell DIY that a lot of people have been asking about those videos online... chances are they'd like the extra traffic to their website if they knew people would go there to see them.

I contacted DIY network asking if they were going to make the videos available. I never heard back.

Then I would send them another email and ask "what should I tell all the people online that are looking for these videos??? Should I just tell them that the DIY network just ignored me and didn't bother to reply to my question???"
Try that and see whether or not they respond. :)

Typical murphys law. as soon as I posted that I hadn't heard back I got an email from DIY network. They basically said that they didn't offer any videos online. So I guess I won't get them. Oh well Thanks for your help.

You gotta love Murphy's Law... but being persistent sometimes works. If you email some links to forums where people are discussing the videos and wanting to view them, it might be enough motivation for DIY to get them on their site.
We're not talking about brain surgery here... it wouldn't take their people very long to set it up, if they know what they're doing. (We do it all the time).
Remember, "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". ;)

Teach a man to fish :-) The OP should have gotten enough clues from what you posted to do the search themselves.

I agree. :) I tried and it didn't pan out... He'll have to fish from here. ;)

Both of those were TV programs.

Diy network had to make a liar out of me. Not two hours after I posted that I never heard back from them I got this email:
Thank you for your email.
We do not sell videos or DVDs of any of our programs, but I will be glad to forward your suggestion regarding their re-airing in the future to the Programming Department for review.

So I guess I won't get them. Oh well I apreciate all of the help.
