Has anyone successfully made the Hexapod robot? Answered

I want to make this instructable  but I am having some trouble making the wooden/metal parts. The comments section is not very active and I was wondering if anyone has made this instructable and is willing to help me.

It would also help if you actually told us what problems you are having.

I mostly have two questions. What is the power plug called that is located in the lower right corner of the board in this photo? What attaches the hinged jaw pieces together at the four small points (not the screws) in this photo?

Oops, sorry. I had two clickable links to the photos but I don't know what happened to them. Here's the links to them to copy and paste: Power plug: https://www.instructables.com/file/FIZYNRYHTG5G8DG, Hinged jaws: https://www.instructables.com/file/FDR5MW5HTG5G9AI.

The power plug will be whatever matches your power supply.

The hinges look like copper, so I'd guess the author made his own rivets.

I have one more question. In the photos, there is a small white thing glued to the bottom of the servos. I assume it is there for stability, but are they needed? The two points of attachment on the top seem like enough. My design of the 'C' shaped pieces do not have a gap at the bottom of the servo, if that affects anything.

I'm not sure I see the piece you mean, but you are hands-on with your project, so you'll know if it's rigid enough or not.
