Help With Windows Taskbar (if your really good with a PC (XP) i need you) Answered

!!TASKBAR TASKBAR TASKBAR!! Ok guys here's the deal, i started my computer about 3 days ago and i have had this problem ever since. When ever i try to minimize a program to my taskbar ,i can't see it. By this i mean that it is minimized but it is like it's hidden i see nothing in my taskbar, but when i do: CTRL,ALT,DELETE , i can see that the program is running. All i want to do is see my minimized, running programs. Please Help Me, Rick NOTE: if this is not a clear explenation of my problem please tell me. I will be pleased to help.I relly need this fixed

I had this problem on my toshiba notebook..

It turns out, there are programs/program updates out there that can mess with with your taskbar.. (im my case its the google toolbar, i've read about musicmatch causing the same problem).

I used this handy VBScript tool to restore it (thanks to whoever wrote it)
xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs

You can view the script in notepad, if youre curious to see what it does..

Its ok guys i figured it out! i just did a system restore of 4 days ago!

. This may work. Maybe not. . Right-click on the Taskbar and select Properties. . Uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" and make sure the minimized apps area is full-width. . Make sure "Hide Inactive icons" is not checked.
