Help with USB booting? Answered

I really nead some help. I am trying to run a bootable linux from a flash drive. but my computer won't boot from a flash drive. I found this instructable:
https://www.instructables.com/id/Boot-from-usb-on-an-old-pc-without-modding-the-BIO/

Howeverthe file that is linked in this instructable is not there anymore. It is the key to the whole thing.

If somebody could help me find this or something like this I would appreciate it.

Many thanks.

Being able to boot from USB is relatively new. Older bios just don't have the option in them to do it. Other than getting a BIOS update, if it is even available, there is not much that you can do. I don't think that you can even boot from a floppy and then run a routine from the USB. Basically the USB is not even recognized until an OS is running. (this is with older BIOS)

HDD
Floppy Drive
CD/DVD Drive
Network

However it doesn't have a floppy drive so it isn't gonna be booting from that.
