Help with uploading images? Answered

I need help with uploading images to Instructables -- the wheel just keeps on spinning forever. I've had this problem on SuSE and Ubuntu... Can anyone help? Please?

I've had this problem before, and when I've opened another tab to look at my image library I've found the images in my library even though the wheel is still spinning in the first tab.

It may depend on the time of day as well.

BTW - the site is designed to run best with Firefox

Thanks, I'll try that. I am using Firefox (I'd never use anything else) -- just not Windows.

Okay, I finally tried that, and it didn't work. I think it's time to PM Eric. Thanks for your help, though.

Sigh my newest upgrade to FF (I believe it is a beta version) does not allow me to upload images to my library

Maybe that's the problem. It might also be the reiser filesystem doesn't interface well with instructables HQ. Incidentally, Wikipedia says that although FF is a commonly used abreviation for Firefox, the proper abreviation is Fx.

Well, for me it wasn't even acknowledging my clicking on the upload button, so after I upgraded my add ons (and disabled all those not compatible) I rebooted and it all came around - I could just bonk myself :-)

I'm trying to make an instructable and it's been spinning for like 10 minutes Instructables should have a progress bar.

If you mean into the library, I don't think it was meant for that. I did it accidentally, and it is totally un-viewable and I can't even delete it now.
