Hi, I am new to your community and am thrilled by what I see. I'm an idea person. Can I get help create prototypes?
If I share my ideas how are my intellectual rights protected. How are the creators rights protected from being copied or used by someone else. Does this site have any legal protections in place. Most importantly, is there anyone out there that is interested in helping me or do you know where I can get this kind of help. It is not complicated stuff, I just don't have that kind of education or talent. Thank you, I look forward from hearing from "Y'all"!

They have certain copyright licenses. If someone steals your instructable, you can just flag it. They will remove it once they realize it was copied.

When publishing an Instructable, you have a choice of licenses for your work, such as "Attribution Non-commercial Share Alike" and the "General Public License" or "GPL". These licenses allow you to retain certain rights to your work, whilst releasing others. "Attribution Non-commercial Share Alike" is popular as it allows for others to build upon your work non-commercially, as long as they give you credit for the original work and share the new product under the same terms as you did.

Welcome to Instructables! User "jtobako" has given you some good guidance. If you have specific projects in mind to build (do it yourself!), I would also suggest joining Groups related to your project, and posting questions or requests for help in those Groups.
Try to be specific and provide enough details that someone will actually be able to help you. If you are looking for information, try using Google or Wikipedia first, before asking someone else to answer your questions (and mention that if you do post a question :-).

Go to the home page, bottom of the screen, 'about us', legal.
There is a forum section as well as the answers sections where you can ask for help, and instructables are able to have more than one author (collaborations).
Instructables is based on sharing ideas and methods of making things. I'm trying to be polite, but what are you offering and what do you need?
