Hockey puck USB
does anyone know of a tutorial to place a USB inside a hockey puck? I thought that it would make a nice gift for a friend but I'm not sure how to make it and can't seem to find a similar tutorial.

What are you not sure of? What kind of thumb drive are you looking to use?
If it's one with a retractable connector then hollow out a section on the surface of the puck to inlay the drive into. If it's a basic thumb stick with a cap than you can cut a section off the side of the puck, hollow out the middle, glue the drive into the hollow, hollow out a small space in the cut out to house the cap and glue it into place.
As for materials needed... i don't know what a puck is made out of. I assume heavy rubber? So it's hard for me to recomend best cutting tools for the job.

Wouldn't you just carve a hole in the puck, then epoxy in the USB?
