Home theater used for car audio? Answered

i just bought a 2003 pontiac sunfire and i was wondering if i can use my pioneer sub from a home theater system in my car i already have a amp i just dont have money for real subs. so can anyone tell me if it will work and what i will need to make it work?

you can get some real subs for cheap, just save up your lunch money.
I dont know how durable "home theater" subs will be ridding around the back of your dirty car.
If your trying to pimp your whip out, then try trading your home stereo for some sweet bumps.

"dirty car" that car is cleaner then your car is i can promise you that. "luch money" bud i have a jod payin 12.25 an hour..

It should work so long as the impedance matches, and the total
(maximum) wattage is about the same.
