If you eliminate all deserts except one piece of apple pie; and eliminate the soda, now double all the rest. That is about what I had (maybe triple on the green beans and corn).

Ah, but it is hard to find decent okra in my area, and my wife does not care for it *sigh* I don't see it in restaurants, so I am kind of out of luck most of the time.

Yeah, well I think I shall wait until the summer comes, there is normally at least one person that grows it in a hothouse up here :-)

I think my growing season is a bit short (and the soil is too clay like, and not sandy enough).

I'll see if I can dig up my camera sometime this week and get my mom to make the gumbo.

I was muttering about being allowed to stuff yourself silly :( I had my grandparents and aunts and cousins watching my every move, so complete gastronomic delight was unattainable.

Carrots, mashed potatoes w/ gravy, green beans w/ onion, creamed corn, turkey, homemade cranberry sauce, Pillsbury rolls, fruit salad w/ cherries, mandarin oranges, marshmallows, pineapple, and cream?, pumpkin pie, and chocochip and toffee cheesecake. Mmmm. So yeah I ate enough to feed my entire family :P
