So guys, I was wondering there is any way to use a wired Xbox 360 on a PS3, without any adapter?

Maybe unlocking the PS3?

Searching the web I found some ways to use the Xbox controller on a PS3, but all of them have to use an adapter.

It's for a wired though. Better than nothing I suppose.

I'm sure that if someones done it, they've posted it on the internet. I'd try searching for it, but my guess is you'll have to flash the PS3 or do something that will most likely void the warranty.

Good luck.

So I think the best way is to sell the Xbox controller, and buy a Playstation one with the money.

Do the jack and socket match?

So why not just stick it in and try?

I already did it, but didn't work. The PS3 displayed a message that is a unrecognized USB dispositive.

I think you're going to need either a physical adaptor, or some sort of software patch.

Sorry.
