How can I make a pair of knee-high boots (with no heels) out of duct tape? Answered

My rubber boots ripped recently, and I have decided to make a replacement pair (with no heels and knee-high) out of duct tape. Problem is, I have no clue how to do so!

You need to figure the extra in the front of the ankle, where the tongue in a shoe is. I'd start with duct taping a sock, then cutting it open as much as needed to get it off (preferably with two cuts to form a tongue) and then adding a fold of duct tape as an expander on each side of the tongue or just behind the cut in a zig-zag shape. Or, just add a flat pane of duct tape into the cut until you can get your foot in and out without it falling off.
