I once made paper from cattail reeds. If you get the hot dog looking part and crumble it up, it produces a cotton like matreal. Then you put it in water with elmers glue, and run it through a screen. Flip it on to a piece of felt. Take a sponge and dab off the extra water, and let it sit to dry.... it makes a very organic looking kind of paper.

Recycled, or from raw materials?
There are a few Instructables on recycled paper, but none yet (that I have seen) on paper from raw materials.
